Urban Quest is a gamified civic-tech app that motivates citizens to move, explore, and report urban issues, providing cities with real-time insights and users with impact-based rewards.

Urban Quest was built from a simple observation: cities are full of people, but citizens are rarely part of the solution when it comes to everyday urban problems. At the same time, municipalities struggle to have real-time visibility of what is happening on the streets.
We designed Urban Quest as a gamified civic platform that motivates people to move through the city with a purpose. Instead of asking users to actively look for problems, we turn exploration into a quest. While walking, discovering, and interacting with their surroundings, users can easily report urban issues using their phone, a photo, and GPS.
To ensure quality and trust, reports are validated by the community and weighted by user reputation. This way, meaningful contributions stand out, and abuse is naturally discouraged. Every validated action generates impact points, which can later be exchanged for rewards provided by socially responsible partners.
From the beginning, we focused on building something realistic and scalable. We started with one city, one type of urban issue, and a simple rewards system. This allowed us to clearly connect citizens, cities, and sponsors through a shared goal: improving urban life together.
Urban Quest is not just a game. It’s a tool that transforms everyday movement into civic impact, empowering people to actively shape the cities they live in.
